Textile-Flex: Born to do business

Textile has been regarded as one of the key growth areas in the print, graphics and signage markets for some time now, with companies producing all kinds of applications.

Being able to meet the ever-changing demands and requirements of customers is critical to the level of success in this market, as clients become more educated in what is possible with print and sign technology when it comes to textile work.

One company that has been able to stay ahead of the game in this market is Textile-Flex, which, based in Haining City, China, specialises in the manufacture of home textiles and sign graphics media.

Scheduled to exhibit at the European Sign Expo within the main FESPA 2018 event, the company will be on hand to speak with visitors about its expertise in coating and weaving technologies, and how it can help other businesses with their print and sign textile work.

Terry Cheng, sales director at Textile-Flex, said that attending major events such as the European Sign Expo is a key part of the company’s strategy, as this allows the firm to keep up with current trends in the market and ensure it is offering the best services and solutions to its own customers.

“We have been involved in textiles, especially in the home textiles area, for more than 16 years,” Cheng told FESPA. “We have full experiences in coating and weaving technologies. It’s like a home business for us; we are born to do this business!

“We are keeping up with the most advanced textile and sign graphic technologies by exhibiting and visiting different exhibitions all over the world; especially the events that can bring us the newest information of the market and its trends.

“We will of course be exhibiting at the European Sign Expo and FESPA in 2018. It is the most professional show for sign graphics.”

Describing the past year as a “busy” 12 months for Textile-Flex, Cheng draws on the launch of a new product as one of the key highlights for the company in 2017. Earlier this year, the firm rolled out a new latex printing PVC non-curling media, and Cheng said the response from the market has been very positive.

“This is a fantastic product for latex, with non-curling feature,” Cheng said. “It is really the superstar of our products.”

Buoyed by the success of the new solution, and indeed its overall performance in 2017, Cheng and Textile-Flex have high hopes for the new year.

Cheng added: “As always, we are aiming for much better volumes than this year.”

Textile-Flex will be one of many companies exhibiting at the European Sign Expo at FESPA 2018. The four-day event runs from May 15-18 in Berlin, Germany, and will allow visitors from around the world to find out about the latest developments in technology, software, tools, applications and industry trends.
