3M expands vehicle wrap film range

3M have announced three new films to the IJ180mC Print Wrap Film range ideally suited for vehicle wraps.

Three new printable films have been added to the IJ180mC Print Wrap Film range from 3M for short-term and permanent graphics customisation on vehicles with hard-to-bond surfaces such as motocross bikes, snowmobile and ATVs.

The three new IJ180 offerings use Comply Adhesive with micro technology to ensure the films provide slideability, and have an initial tack that enables the installer to move the film across the application surface and reposition as required.

The company states on its website that the new films provide for design flexibility, with white, metallic, clear and non-pvc films. Now there is a product for every project- including vehicles, boats, fleet, interior walls, exterior signs, stainless steel and recreational vehicles.

The three new printable IJ180mC Print Wrap Films from 3M have been specially designed to adhere to hard-to-bond surfaces including Low Surface Energy (LSE) plastic, powder coat paints and stainless steel, ideal for applying promotional graphics to vehicles including tankers, caravans, horse trailers, refrigerated and food trucks.

The IJ180mC-10UR Print Wrap Films from 3M is an ultra-removable print wrap film intended for short-term vehicle graphics where a fast and easy installation, and clean, simple removal without heat or chemicals is required. Applications include commercial vehicles and fleet graphics and buses, as well as general indoor and outdoor signage.

The three new printable films in the IJ180 range from 3M are 3D conformable for applying to flat to compound curved surfaces, rivets and corrugations.
