Drytac bolsters US business with senior appointments
Self-adhesive materials specialist Drytac has moved to strengthen its recently restructured marketing and brand department in the US with a number of senior appointments.
Olga Bates will join the company as brand manager, while Amanda Brown will take on the role of marketing coordinator within the division, which focuses on driving a number of the firm’s major expansion goals.
Bates previously worked for The Martin Agency and Capital One, and played a major role in the design and implementation of a programming strategy for the Walmart Digital Network. During her career, Bates has worked with a number of leading brands such as L’Oréal, P&G and the NFL American football league.
“I consider it an honour and a privilege to spearhead the rebranding efforts for an organisation as remarkable as Drytac,” Bates said.
“The more I get to know its culture and personality, the more I admire this company. It’s a good feeling when you can’t wait to come to work every day.
“I’m confident we can achieve even greater things in the future by taking the Drytac brand to the next level.”
Meanwhile, Brown joins as marketing coordinator after a two-year spell as an assistant store manager for Kohl’s Department Stores, a role in which she was able to gain experience supervising employees, as well as promoting products and implementing store displays – the latter of which is an area where Drytac solutions are often used.
Brown will now be based with Bates at Drytac’s US facility in Richmond, Virginia.
Drytac offers self-adhesive materials for the print, label and industrial markets, and the company’s European division will be in attendance at FESPA 2017 this year to showcase some of its latest solutions to the wider market on Stand G3 in Hall B7.
Drytac Europe recently revealed that it will focus on its ReTac products at the event, while visitors will also be able to gain further insight into its SpotOn and ViziPrint Impress films.
Steve Broad, sales director for Drytac Europe, said: “We are excited to be exhibiting our products once again at FESPA. The event offers a great platform for launching new products and communicating with current and potential customers around the world.
“Whilst showcasing the products previously detailed, we will also be announcing a number of new products prior to FESPA. More details will follow in due course.”
