SmartHub – Expectations, opportunities and why you should attend!

The SmartHub at Personalisation Experience 2025 in Berlin will showcase personalisation and smart production opportunities across industries like textiles. Featuring a Smart Factory Trail with brands like Inkcups and Trotec, and a conference with experts discussing AI, mass customisation, and profit strategies, it offers insights into reducing waste and boosting efficiency through digital methods. Panel sessions will explore growth, automation in textiles, and smart manufacturing.

Next month, at Personalisation Experience 2025 (6 – 9 May 2025, at the Messe Berlin, Germany), we will welcome an array of Visionaries from the speciality print sector to explore the latest edition of our feature programme: the SmartHub. After months of preparations, we can’t wait to kickstart the feature, and I am personally looking forward to meeting with all those who attend!

The SmartHub feature will be located within Personalisation Experience (Hall 5.2, Stand A55) and will enable visitors to explore the many opportunities and benefits of personalisation and smart production, across many verticals including textile and garment industries. It will also highlight the importance of using the latest technologies and software across a range of disciplines, to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency, while leveraging the benefits of digital production methods.

What’s included?

Comprising of a Smart Factory Trail and various expert-led conference and panel sessions, the SmartHub feature will provide an array of opportunities for all attendees. Here’s how:

Smart Factory Trail

For our visitors hoping to broaden their understanding of intelligent manufacturing and the production of personalised products, the Smart Factory Trail will highlight offerings from all exhibiting companies in Berlin via the FESPA App and a dedicated guide available by QR code throughout the SmartHub. The trail will include brands such as Antigro Designer, Inkcups, Neolt Factory, Polyprint, Trotec and Stahls’, who will showcase the latest on-demand printing solutions for smart production processes.

Conference sessions

This year, visitors are also encouraged to attend the three-day SmartHub Conference programme, included in the feature. The Conference will welcome a host of industry experts to the stage as they explore the benefits of customisation-enabling solutions, the power of personalisation, current trends, and share their own knowledge and experiences.
Moderated by Frank Tueckmantel, confirmed topics include:

  • Unlocking attention and engagement through personalisation
  • Mass customisation in the age of AI
  • How to lock down profits by selling the security of print and the power of personalisation
  • How AI driven innovation is transforming the print industry

Panel sessions

Alongside the conference sessions, visitors can also attend a variety of panel sessions, exploring:
  • How to master personalisation to drive growth
  • How automation is impacting the future of textile production
  • Smart manufacturing for DTF - DTG and roll to roll applications

With so many opportunities up for grabs, we’re certain that there will be something for you within the feature!

Smart technology: Get ahead of the curve

It’s no surprise that due to the capabilities of customisation-enabling solutions and increasing demand for the complete individualisation of products and services, from start to finish, that there is a new standard within personalisation.

As a result, brand owners, retailers, manufacturers and businesses must stay ahead of the curve by placing their consumers front of mind and investing in advanced, competitive technologies.  That’s why our new SmartHub feature is an important part of the 2025 exhibition. So, are you ready to experience it?

Once visitors have delved deeper into smart production in the SmartHub, they can also further enhance their knowledge on customisation at the Personalisation Experience exhibition. Those who attend the exhibition will have the opportunity to connect with Visionaries from across the speciality print sector, discover even more technologies and solutions, and develop a forward-facing vision of the next steps in personalisation.
We’re thrilled to be back in Germany this May and cannot wait to welcome you all to the 2025 events!
