Norman Brubach crowned World Wrap Master of Europe 2021

The World Wrap Masters Europe competition returned from 12th – 15th October 2021 and was located at the FESPA Global Print Expo 2021 exhibition at the RAI exhibition centre.

The competition lasted for 4 days, and competitors came from Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Sweden, Hungary, Austria, Russia and Italy.

We were joined by two judges and our guest MC. Kiss Lajos is an experienced wrapper and runs his company Fixfolia from Hungary. He has been crowed World Wrap Master twice in 2014 and 2015. Kiss has judged many World Wrap Masters competitions and returns to judge the World Wrap Masters Europe 2021. Justin Pate from the Wrap Institute returned as a judge after judging a few years ago. Justin has wrapped over 3100 vehicles in his 20-year career. We were also joined by a familiar face, Ole Solskin joined as the guest MC. Ole is well known in the industry and is a tinting and wrapping expert and owner of Suntin A/S in Denmark. Ole has over 30 years in the industry.

The World Wrap Masters Europe 2021 was sponsored by Hexis the headline and vinyl sponsor and Mimaki Europe the print sponsor.

The competition featured various rounds including demos from judge Justin Pate and Ole Solskin. Justin’s demos included “Reading the Recesses – Tips for Sales, Install and Workflow” and “Zero Stretch and TWI Wrap Matrix”. Ole’s demos included “Zoom Into Wrap” and “The Grumpy Old Wrapper.” Watch all demos on the World Wrap Masters Youtube here.
There were many rounds during the 4 day competition competitors has to wrap a Mercedes E-VITO a 100% electric van. The competitors had to wrap a child’s car and a child’s chair during the creative rounds. This was their opportunity to showcase their innovative and creative skills.

The final round was an exciting and the difference between the first and second place winner was only 7 points. Vitek Simek from Czech Republic came in third place. Vitek commented: “I am very happy coming in third place because the level of competition that Norman and Ivan delivered was very strong.”


Ivan Tenchev from Hungary who has won the World Wrap Masters Eurasia competition 4 times came in second place. Ivan commented: “The competition was really nice it’s my pleasure to be back again. This 4 day competition was full of fun and I learned a lot of new tricks and like always the World Wrap Masters is incredible!”

Norman Brubach from Germany was crowned winner and the World Wrap Masters of Europe 2021. Norman will go on to compete in the World Wrap Masters Final 2022 at the FESPA Global Print Expo 2022 in Berlin. Norman commented: “It’s crazy, I didn’t expect it but it was so close between myself and the other competitors but was of course pleasantly surprised and very happy!”
