Midcomp to showcase new HP dye sublimation printer at FESPA Africa 2019

Midcomp will showcase the HP Stitch S500 and S1000 printers at the upcoming FESPA Africa 2019 and Sign Africa exhibition, taking place from the 11th – 13th September at the Gallagher Convention Centre.

Midcomp is an equipment supplier who offers digital printing equipment and finishing equipment from well known brands such as Zünd, Océ and Hewlett Packard. Midcomp will feature both the HP Stich S500 64 inch printer and the HP Stitch S1000 126inch printer at FESPA Africa 2019 and Sign Africa.

Both printers feature continuous high-quality prints with transfer paper and a direct-to fabric feature. The HP Stitch S500 64 inch printer enables predictable dye sublimation colour and less media waste for production environments. With symmetrical 2 x CMYK printhead configuration and Optical Media Advance Sensor, this printer allows for saturated and reliable one pass mode for true top speed. The printer was designed for high production sites.

In comparison, the HP Stitch S1000 126 inch is much wider. The portfolio of HP Stitch S Series printers couple HP Thermal Inkjet technology with industry-standard dyes for superior colour durability. The first-ever built-in spectrophotometer enables Stitch’s fast and exact colour-matching.

FESPA Africa, South Africa’s largest dedicated print and signage exhibition returns to the Gallagher Convention Centre during the 11-13 September 2019. Conveniently co-located with Sign Africa, Africa Print, Africa LED and the Modern Marketing Expo’s you can reach hundreds of leading exhibitors showcasing the latest developments in technology, equipment, consumables, solutions, software and more.
