InkTec appointment signals shift in focus
The appointment of Peter Davidson as senior business development manager at reveals a shift in business direction at InkTec.
The expansion of InkTec's sales team signals increased investment in their inks and media portfolio. While the company continues to focus on its ever increasing sales and installations of Jetrix, Mr Davidson has been brought on board to principally concentrate on inks and media.
Mr Davidson has experience within the large format printing sector, including working with Colourgen. His remit at InkTec is to increase the inks and media business within the business, which will also see an expansion of the media range and building stronger relationships with distributors and resellers.
"Peter joining the team signals a positive shift in us investing much more in our inks and media portfolio," explained Joey Kim, managing director of InkTec Europe.
"We have long identified the need to build our relationships with our distributors and resellers particularly within the inks and media arena. However, it has taken time to find the right person for the role, so we are delighted that Peter has joined the team, bringing with him significant experience of our sector."
"Much of my time will be spent proactively in the field visiting our customers to build our relationships and also raise awareness of the full product range of inks and media that InkTec have,' said Mr Davidson. "I will also be looking at potential new products to enhance the current range, so watch this space!"
