Ahead of the European Sign Expo 2023, Rob Fletcher catches up with Platinum sponsor EFKA to find out more about what we can expect from the textile frames specialist at the event later this month…

We believe that our sponsorship of the European Sign Expo 2023 will help us to expand our brand awareness, reach new customers, and continue to grow our business.

We're really looking forward to the upcoming show and are excited to showcase our latest products and solutions.

A must-attend for anyone in the signage and visual communications, the European Sign Expo returns this month, with the 2023 event taking place alongside the FESPA Global Print Expo 2023 at Messe Munich in Germany from 23 to 26 May.

Featuring a line-up of specialist suppliers and manufacturers from this innovative market, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in this sector and view the solutions that could help their business expand and grow.

Among the exhibitors this year will be EFKA, a long-term supporter of the event and also Platinum sponsor for the European Sign Expo 2023. A specialist provider of textile frames for use in all manner of applications, EFKA provides products to customers in single pieces or mass production.

“We have a large stock and are able to deliver quickly,” Derian Reekers, marketer at EFKA, said. “With our practical sales tools, you can easily get the right advice and simplify sales to your customers. Our multilingual customer service is happy to help you to find the right solution.

“Thanks to our high-quality standard and good packaging, you are always assured of happy customers. You name it, we frame it!”

Addressing important trends

EFKA’s appearance at the European Sign Expo 2023 comes on the back of a very busy 2022, during which the business was taken over by Lifco, a Swedish listed company. EFKA now runs as a subsidiary of Lifco but continues to operate independently with no impact to customers.

“The arrival of Lifco as a shareholder offers EFKA the ideal opportunity to further grow the company with the aim of strengthening its market position in Europe and beyond, across the signage, expo and office markets,” Reekers said. “This makes EFKA's proposition even stronger: a wide range, large stock, fast delivery and a high level of service.

“Regarding 2023, we have started positively and are confident that we will continue to provide our customers with excellent service and products while growing and expanding our business. We are excited about the future and look forward to what the rest of the year will bring.”

With this in mind, Reekers said EKFA will use its presence at the European Sign Expo 2023 to address a number of key trends identified in recent months. Among these is a growing focus on sustainability and consumers becoming more environmentally conscious, leading to EFKA looking for products and services that are produced in a planet friendly way.

Another trend highlighted by EKFA is an increasing need for personalisation, which Reekers said allows businesses to differentiate themselves from their competitors. To meet this demand, EFKA offers fully personalised textile frames.

Finally, Reekers said EFKA has noticed a rising demand for convenience and total solutions, with customers wanting products and services that are easy to use and require minimal effort on their part.

“To meet this need, we offer fulfilment services and a high service level to our customers, to help them with every step of the process, from product selection to delivery,” Reekers said. “This has been a successful strategy for us, as it has enabled us to provide a more comprehensive and convenient service to our customers.”

Superior showcase

With this in mind, Reekers draws attention to what visitors can expect from EFKA at the event this month. The company will be showcasing both its existing solutions and some new products.

Much of the focus will be on EFKA’s range of textile frames including illuminated and non-illuminated frames, 3D frames, curved frames, outdoor frames, and specially curved frames. Additionally, we will be launching a new 3D profile.

“Along with our products, we will also be showcasing our advisory plan, which is a useful step-by-step plan to always recommend the right frame for the right solution,” Reekers said. “We are excited to share our latest innovations with our customers and visitors at the event.”

“We are also sponsoring the exhibition because we have had a long-term and positive relationship with FESPA. Additionally, we are proud to be able to realise the FESPA Sales Lounge. It is an excellent opportunity for us to further strengthen our relationship with FESPA and to showcase our products and services to a broad and relevant audience.

“We believe that our sponsorship of the European Sign Expo 2023 will help us to expand our brand awareness, reach new customers, and continue to grow our business.”

Speaking more about EFKA’s long-term affiliation with FESPA and its events, Reekers said the company views the wider FESPA Global Print Expo as one of the most important exhibitions for the business to connect with existing and potential customers.

“Attending FESPA provides us with an opportunity to showcase our products and services, meet with industry leaders, and stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the sign and printing industry. It's a great platform to network, learn, and establish new business relationships.

“Additionally, it allows us to showcase our expertise and experience in the market, which is essential for building trust and credibility with our customers.

“We're really looking forward to the upcoming show and are excited to showcase our latest products and solutions. It's always a great opportunity to meet with existing customers and make new connections in the industry. We can't wait to see everyone there.”
