Bazil Cassim, FESPA Regional Manager, Middle East & Africa shares with visitors what they can expect at the upcoming FESPA Middle East 2024 exhibition taking place 29th - 31st January 2024 in Dubai.
In just a few days, we’ll be opening the doors to the first edition of FESPA Middle East, hosted at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, UAE, from 29 - 31 January 2024.
With over 150 brands being represented, FESPA Middle East 2024 will offer a wealth of product innovations for digital, screen and textile printing and signage. But what can you expect as you walk through the halls of the Dubai Exhibition Centre? We’ve been speaking to exhibitors to find out more about the products and solutions they’ll have on display, and I’m here to give you a flavour of what you’ll see.
Graphics and wide format printing
The booming speciality print market in the Middle East affirmed the need for a dedicated FESPA event catering to the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Whether you’re looking for wide format digital print technology and innovative finishing solutions, or you’re on the hunt for more sustainable substrates and consumables, you can find them all under one roof at the Dubai Exhibition Centre.
If you’re interested in wide format digital printers and roll-to-roll technology, I’d definitely recommend visiting Flex-Europa, Canon, Epson, Mimaki, Quantum Digital Technologies, Roland and Screentex.
They will be showcasing hardware including Epson’s Surecolor SC-V7000 and Surecolor SC-S80610L; the Flora Xtra 5000UV and Flora Xtra 320UV; and Canon’s Colorado M-series.

Represented brands include PoliTape, Aslan, Mikalite and Perspex.
Textile printing
Textile printing is a core part of our proposition and due to the growth of e-commerce, it’s a fast-growing sector in the Middle East. As a result, there’s a host of new solutions on the market, ranging from screen printing carousels, direct-to-film and direct-to-garment printers, garment embellishment, dye sublimation, and much more.
We have leading exhibiting brands and regional distributors, including Signtrade, Brother, Magic Trading, Mimaki, BestSub Technologies, J M Textiles and Shanghai Mecolour Digital Technology, showcasing an array of solutions for textile printers and garment producers next week.
This will include hardware and consumables for digital and sublimation, DTF, finishing and embellishments, such as 3D embossed UV printers, fibre lasers and the RUK digital flatbed cutter.
Signage
In light of the growing event, hospitality and tourism market in the Middle East, the demand for advertising and wayfinding signage continues to grow. Whether it’s for sporting events, new hotels or large-scale billboards, there’s an array of signage applications you should consider adding to your offering.
At FESPA Middle East 2024, you can explore a range of solutions to help you expand your signage offering, including display systems, sign making tools, aluminium profiles, CNC routers, light boxes, LED products and more.
