McDonalds
Although McDonalds has showed their creative marketing skills in signage, they have done some rather scadilous advertisements in recent times, such as their recent disastrous campaign, where McDonald's, the fast-food giant had to apologize for a Big Mac print ad that parodies mental health outreach campaign, Time reports. The poster was featured recently on the Boston mass transit and shows a woman, clearly in anguish and in trouble, accompanied by the words "You're Not Alone. Millions of people love the Big Mac." A help line listed below the ad reportedly connects to McDonald’s corporate line. Pam Hamlin, president of Arnold, the ad house that produced the poster, confirmed in a statement sent to HuffingtonPost that McDonald's had not approved, and that the ad was an "unintended error." (suspicious? don't blame you). So an obvious takeaway from this, is that if you are going to perform "gorilla style" tactics of hijacking someone elses campaign, then BEWARE OF WHOSE CAMPAIGN YOU ARE TRYING TO HIJACK.
Anyway, here's the add.
