Over 100 new products will be showcased at the Fespa Global Print Expo 2025, including many products for vehicle graphics, interior decoration, and digital printing. Read on to find out what visitors can look forward to in the area of films and accessories.
Films and accessories are very popular at trade shows. That’s because they enable print service providers to discover entirely new applications using their existing equipment. Many manufacturers of films and accessories have already announced that they will launch new, innovative products at the Fespa Global Print Expo 2025 in Berlin.
They can be broadly divided into two areas of application:
- Products for decorating and protecting buildings, as well as for advertising
- Films for Vehicle Wrapping
In addition, environmental sustainability remains a major issue when it comes to printing substrates. For example, 3A (4.2-B35) has defined its own “Five-Dot Mission” for sustainability:
- Bio-based Content
- Recycling Rate
- Carbon Footprint
- Product Lifespan
- Recyclability.
For years now, Guangdong (3.2-A10) has offered a complete range of PVC-free substrates under the “Green Life” brand. Among the highlights to be presented in Berlin are Poly-Rafia, Poly-Banner, and PP-Banner, all of which are made from monoresin-based polyolefins. This innovative material is 100% reusable without the need for labor-intensive separation. Also being introduced at the trade show is the new “Super Large Format” product line, a series of banners and textiles optimized for the latest digital printing technologies. Also new: Mairon, a new series of particularly durable Plasto-Magnets for industrial applications, as well as Fiberboo, a biodegradable and compostable textile made from bamboo fibers.

Products for the Protection and Decoration of Buildings
Films and other products designed to protect and enhance the appearance of buildings and rooms are in high demand. This is also linked to the push for greater sustainability. After all, these products allow residential and commercial spaces—as well as entire buildings—to get a fresh new look with minimal effort.
For example, Kernow Coatings (3.2-A27) is showcasing Kernowjet Metallik, a metallic film available in gold, silver, and rose gold. It is available with either removable or permanent adhesive and can be printed with HP Latex, UV-curable, and solvent-based inks. In addition to seasonal advertising applications, it is also intended for store fixtures and wall coverings.
Drytac’s featured product (4.2-A10) at FESPA is Polar Grip Air. This polymer-based PVC film, which features air channels for easy application, has been available in North America since mid-2023 and is now being introduced to other markets as well. What sets it apart is that it can be applied even at temperatures as low as -20 degrees. It is suitable for a wide variety of surfaces, including metal and brickwork. When printed with eco-solvent, latex, or UV-curable inks and paired with a compatible laminate, it offers a durability of up to 7 years for both indoor and outdoor applications.
At booth 6.2-A33A, Neschen will be exhibiting for the first time as part of the Swiss ATP Group. In addition to its extensive range of self-adhesive media, mounting films, and protective films, the spotlight will also be on Neschen’s hot and cold laminators.

Films for Vehicle Wrapping
Exhibitors at the FESPA Global Print Expo are devoting a great deal of attention to the topic of “colored films and printing substrates for vehicle wrapping.” This comes as no surprise, given that the“World Wrap Masters Europe 2025”—one of the most important competitions in this field—will be held at the trade show.
3M (6.2-A50) is focusing its new product lineup on films for paint and color protection. For example, the clear Scotchguard Paint Protection Film Pro Series 150 Gloss is designed to be installed particularly quickly. The new, colored 3M Protection Wrap Film not only protects the original paint but also allows for custom car-wrapping designs according to customer preferences.
Orafol (6.2-A40) is also showcasing paint protection films in Berlin, specifically the new Oraguard PPF2815 series in silver, black, and white. It is available in both glossy and matte finishes. In addition to the standard width of 1,520 mm, the transparent version is also available in a width of 1,830 mm. All products in this series are made of thermoplastic polyurethane (PU). They offer reliable protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. In addition, the hydrophobic coating creates a lotus effect that makes cleaning much easier.
