Antalis adds a printable fabric to the Coala range

Antalis has launched a printable, self-adhesive wallcover fabric developed to allow for damage free removal and repositioning.

The new Coala Silky Wallcover Textile is a PVC-free, woven material that has a blockout layer to ensure existing graphics do not show through – making it useful as a covering for hard-to-remove graphics.

The 170gsm product has a B1 fire rating and is available in three standard sizes: 1067 x 30m, 1370 x 30m and 1520 x 30m.

With a specially designed adhesive, the Coala Silky Wallcover Textile is easy to reposition and remove, without leaving any unsightly residue or damaging the application surface, thus ensuring that decorations can be changed whenever required. It also offers a B1 fire rating, making it the ideal product for interior use.

Designed to be a replacement for Coala Wallcover Textile, it provides a competitive equivalent to the popular, photo-tex media.

In August this year, Antalis launched a new E-Photo range of papers, which it said would “revolutionise the vividness and quality of photo-based printed products”; and a month prior, the firm and its partner Arjowiggins Graphic donated 200 solar panels to support education for children in Mali.
