That's a wrap...well not quite yet!

This is one of the most important parts of the rally, because if we didn't cover this, we couldn't really call it the FESPA Wrap Rally!
For the first FESPA Wrap Rally to FESPA Digital '11 in Hamburg, we wrapped a tiny smart car in 3 stages en route. This time round we're going one huge step further and wrapping a 7 metre long motorhome in one fell swoop, in sunny (its actually snowy) England.
If you haven't heard or don't really know much about the technique, here's a quick summary...
Wrap advertising is the marketing practice of completely or partially covering (wrapping) a vehicle in an advertisement or livery, thus turning it into a mobile billboard. This can be achieved by simply painting the vehicle surface, but it is now common practice to use large vinyl sheets with a printed design as decals. These can be removed with relative ease, making it much less expensive to change from one advertisement to another.
Vehicle wrapping is becoming ever more popular. Recently, instead of using vehicle wrapping for advertising, it is more fashionable to be used for decorative purposes after a series of celebrities used car wraps on their supercars!
So, to take up the challenge of wrapping such a beast of a vehicle, a company called Master Wrapping has stepped up to the mark. From their London site, they will be applying the HP latex printed Hexis vinyl over the duration of 2 days which is quite an accomplishment! During that time the Wrap Rally Team will be on site, being tutored by James Deacon about how to wrap and Rich and Rob will be getting stuck in. It's going to be a real hands on day and James will be answering all sorts of questions which are provided by you.
