Andreas Skantze
Andreas Skantze Andreas has worked with super large format images for almost 25 years. Big Image was printing digitally as early as 1989, and a lot has happened since. 1994-1995 Andreas lived in Berlin to start up the Big Image production plant there, today there are 35 employees working with digital printing and finishing of setdesigns for theaters and operas. As the president of Big Image Systems group (with production and sales in Sweden and Germany, sales office in the US), Andreas continues to travel as much as possible to meet clients and produce large format visual experiences for creative and demanding clients.

Chris Lynn
Chris LynnChris Lynn is VP Sales & Marketing for Xaar Americas, Inc. supporting clients from Canada to Chile. He is a business strategist with twenty years’ experience in technologies for printing & publishing. He has worked Europe, Asia and the US in product management, sales & channel development, strategic marketing and general management.

Chris held senior marketing positions at pre-press vendor Crosfield Electronics Ltd, a jointly-owned Du Pont & FujiFilm company; and led the $120m printing & converting technology division of a pan-Asian capital goods company, based in Singapore. He moved to the US with that company in 1994 and subsequently became vice president of marketing for Digital Asset Management software vendor MediaBin, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Interwoven.

Christian Duyckaerts
Christian DuyckaertsChristian Duyckaerts (DOB: 1970) is FESPA's board representative in Belgium, and President of the screen and digital work group of Belgian trade association Febelgra. He is also a member of the Organisation Mondiale de la Presse Periodique.

Since the year 2000, Christian has been a managing partner and technical director of Antwerp-based Print&Display, a specialist in the creation of outdoor publicity materials, cardboard displays, permanent displays, and POP collateral for corporate and agency customers throughout Europe.

Employing 108 people, with sales offices in Benelux, Germany and France, Print&Display takes care of the entire process from research, design and prototyping through to printing, finishing, fulfilment and warehousing, and uses a combination of screen, offset and digital printing techniques.

Enrico Steijn
Enrico SteijnEnrico Steijn (DOB: 1960) is FESPA’s current Treasurer and has been a Board Member since 2000.  He is also on the Board of the Dutch screenprinting trade association ZSO, a division of KVGO. As such he represents the Netherlands on the board of FESPA.
Enrico holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and has occupied management roles in the packaging and graphic arts industries since 1985.

He is the owner and CEO of Imaba Screenprinting in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, employing 35 people and generating turnover of Euro 4 million through outdoor and POS printing.

He directs the company together with his wife, sales director Anne-Martine, and complements his business interests in screenprinting with ownership of several industrial properties in the Zoetermeer area. Enrico and his wife have two young daughters.

Frazer Chesterman
Frazer ChestermanFrazer Chesterman is a youthful and energetic 46 year old, who is married with 3 children - all boys. He joined FESPA as a commercially driven senior professional with wide ranging experience of running exhibitions, conferences and magazines in a variety of business to business sectors. He spent 8 years working at Reed Elsevier on various magazines and then joined Brintex, the UK's largest privately owned exhibition organiser. At Brintex, he was a board level director with responsibility for six medium sized events covering various different marketplaces.

Laura Hardy
Laura HardyLaura joined Ogilvy Washington in 1999. She has extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of print production and creative management. Her day-to-day responsibilities include production oversight of campaign materials, managing budgets, negotiating outside purchases, qualifying and managing vendors and researching new technologies.

With more than 25 years of highly technical production management experience, Laura has handled accounts and purchasing of tens of millions of dollars annually. Laura’s current work includes managing the print production needs for social marketing/public health communication campaigns, advertising materials for business-to-business/consumer education/general consumer campaigns, corporate marketing materials, direct mail, out-of-home, exhibit materials, video packaging and turnkey kits.

Marcus TimpsonMarcus joined the event and exhibition industry in 1999 from the world of publishing.

In 2006, I joined FESPA to run the marketing for FESPA’s flagshhip FESPA 2007 breaking all attendance records by over 20%. In April 2008 he launched the Wide Network, a social community for wide format digital printing and it now has over 1,300 members in over 100 countries & still growing.

Mark Simpson
Mark SimpsonI began working for the family business, Simpson Print Limited in 1983 initially working in the studio and then progressing to estimating and sales positions. Within 3 years I was appointed Sales Director and began to develop a nationwide sales team to exploit the then growing market for retail POP. In 1990 I was appointed Managing Director to succeed my father who was then planning his retirement. The business grew dramatically during the 1990s emerging as one of the most respected in it’s field.

I am now currently Chairman of Simpson Group, located in Washington, Tyne and Wear providing UK and European wide in-store advertising campaigns for major brands and retailers including Next, TUI, Sainsbury’s and Matalan.
