Printeriors Conference to show print possibilities for interior décor

Taking place alongside FESPA Digital 2016, Printeriors will illustrate print's creative potential with applications from printed glass to digitally printed wallpaper.

Wide format printers are invited to tap into expert knowledge illustrating how print can help them create stand out interior decoration, via a packed programme of sessions at the one-day Printeriors Conference, taking place in the Amtrium at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition Centre on Thursday 10th March 2016.

An international line-up of designers and print specialists will take to the stage, with discussions focused around key themes: Trends for 2017; Standing out from the Crowd; Design Beyond Eyes; and How to Build your Brand. Presented in English, delegates will be able to benefit first-hand from the experience of speakers to gain insights into the growth and creative development of printing for interior decoration.

Sessions will cover topics including:

  • Designing for Interior Workspaces, where John Sulzmann of Artworks Solutions will present a series of interior work space case studies and illustrate how his business has evolved to support architects and designers.
  • Vinyl applications in interior decoration, where Bogdan Viorel from MacTac will look at the latest applications of vinyl in interior and exterior decoration using new innovative products.
  • Printed furniture, where Matt and Laura Etkin-Budge of Kitschiku will discuss the inspiration behind their pattern and furniture ideas, and how they have been received by the design market.
  • FESPA 2015 Award winners Thijs Sepers and Vincent Post of TS Visuals will take a look at One step beyond printing, discussing how, as specialist large format printers, they have found solutions for applications on metal panels, glass, steel, wood and many other substrates, bringing the ideas of photographers, artists, interior designers and architects to life.

Roz McGuinness, Divisional Director, FESPA, comments: “The Printeriors Conference will provide speciality printers with an unmissable opportunity to gain exclusive insight into the trends, applications and know-how for printed interior decoration.”

“Our stellar line-up of large format printers and designers means that printers will be able to hear first-hand from those already working in this space. The networking event after the conference will also facilitate the coming together of the print and design communities to understand just what is possible and how they can benefit from working together in the interior space.”

The Printeriors Conference runs alongside ‘The Print Hotel’ event showcase featuring applications including decorated walls, floors, glazed and mirrored surfaces, fixtures, furniture, carpets, textiles and accessories, all produced using the latest decorative printing techniques.

Printers visiting Printeriors will also benefit from free access to FESPA Digital 2016, FESPA Textile and European Sign Expo, providing them with the opportunity to explore the technology and innovations driving the trends in printed interior design and to see how they can turn their ideas in reality.

Conference tickets include a full hospitality package, comprising lunch, access to the full conference programme, a networking drinks reception and live entertainment with other delegates and speakers.
