FESPA RE-LAUNCHES WEBSITE FOR ITS GLOBAL COMMUNITY

FESPA's website has been given a significant makeover as part of the organisation's Profit for Purpose reinvestment programme and has been re-launched today. Ensuring that the site is more user-friendly so it continues to be a valuable resource for FESPA's members and wider screen and digital print community is the main aim behind these significant improvements.

Created to be a reliable, engaging and informative hub, the FESPA website provides up-to-date industry trends, comment and developments to benefit its global community. A comprehensive collection of new and shared content will be more easily accessible and FREE to all visitors.

Visitors to www.fespa.com will also be able to access further information such as the technical resource library and the directory of FESPA's international events, including contacts, members and relevant news items. The new website will be a one-stop wide format printing information solution.

The FESPA website offers members exclusive content such as the Planet Friendly Printing Guide, research such as the bi-annual Economy Survey, on-demand presentations from leading brands, agencies and printers.

New interactive social media platforms will also be featured, including a webinar section – open to all to attend and learn. Every month FESPA will host a webinar about current market trends and issues, beginning with a mini-series on sales and marketing techniques for printers, delivered by consultant Matthew Parker.

A dedicated Planet Friendly Printing section will also be a new feature on the site, allowing FESPA to concentrate its commitment and efforts in supporting the global print community to become more sustainable. The area has been expanded to accommodate expert opinions, research, presentations and videos. There will also be a new online abridged version of FESPA's Planet Friendly Printing Guide which will benefit from a clearer 'search' function for ease of use.

FESPA's Head of Events and New Media, Duncan MacOwan says, 'As an organisation, FESPA's aim is to inform, connect and engage with its global wide format community. The newly designed website was created to ensure all the information is easily accessed and most importantly, user-friendly for our visitors. We guarantee that all information will be up-to-date and relevant."

He continues, "The Planet Friendly Printing section is particularly important to us as we continue to strive to promote sustainability within the industry. We hope visitors enjoy the new FESPA website and all our brand new content. We look forward to revealing even more of FESPA's online offering in phase two later this year."
