Slovak Screen Printing Association (SZSR) representatives Mr. Zlatko Šimko – SZSR President and Mr. Ľudovít Bartoš – SZSR Secretary attended the French Screen and Digital Printing Association (GPSF) General Assembly held on 20th – 22nd January 2009 in Paris, France.
They were welcomed at the GPSF Office on 68 boulevard Saint Marcel, 75005, Paris by Mr. Denis Constantin – GPSF President, Mr. Michel Caza – GPSF Vice-President and Ms. Julie Chide – GPSF Secretary.

GPSF Board Members at their 2009 General AssemblyIn his presentation lasting over one hour, Ľudovít gave an overview of the 15 year history of Slovak SPA, drawing particular attention to past international cooperation and activities as well as talking about SZSR plans for the future with the main objective of bringing members together by working for the benefit of screen and digital printer members in Slovakia.

"Cooperation between associations helps to share information and technical skills, helps us to understand more about other countries and their people, helps us to recognize the differences (and similarities) in each country and to see what is special, helps us to find right answers and helps us to learn from our friends in neighbouring countries" said Ľudovít.



L-R, Zlatko Simko and Ludovit Bartos, President and Secretary of SZSRLudovit felt privileged to attend the meeting and thanked GPSF for their hospitality. On behalf of Slovak SPA, he invited French SPA representatives and GPSF members to visit Slovakia for a study tour and information exchange. This idea was discussed and warmly welcomed by GPSF. The first items in schedule of future cooperation were discussed after the meeting over a lovely dinner in an old style French restaurant together with wine tasting. More information will be made available once plans are confirmed.
