New colours for premium quality vinyl ImagePerfect™ IP5700 also introduced
The Gerber Solara ionx is a flatbed/roll-to-roll, wide-format, UV inkjet printer featuring advanced GerberCAT™ cationic inks and Cold Fire Cure™ technology. Cold Fire Cure™ technology is a unique UV curing process that provides revolutionary inkjet curing features by using low energy and low temperatures to cure the proprietary GerberCAT™ cationic inks. As a result, the range of printable substrates is significantly expanded.

"We are delighted to be exhibiting key products from our industry-leading sign solutions range and are especially pleased to be introducing the Gerber Solara ionx, for the first time at a Spanish tradeshow", says Leon Watson, European Hardware Sales Director at Spandex. Spandex will also introduce the latest additions to its exclusive ImagePerfect™ range having added a stunning number of Europe's best-selling colours to its premium quality 5700P series. The expansion of the 5700P series - a high quality, 70µ, flexible, self-adhesive polymeric gloss vinyl - comprises an additional 14 colours, all of which are available from stock. As with the 66 existing products in the 5700P range, the new films are particularly suited to computer-controlled cutting equipment where better cutting and both fast and very easy weeding is achieved, thanks to a high quality, specially-engineered release liner. The ImagePerfect™ 5700P range is ideal for any indoor or outdoor signage project, including vehicle and window graphics. Spandex offers the industry's widest range of media brands including 3M, Avery, Orafol and Mactac. Spandex's ImagePerfect™ brand comprises an increasingly successful portfolio of products. Also being launched are a number of specialist materials, including ImagePerfect™ IP 2519 and IP2518 – both of which are ideal for use with UV printers. Many new colours have also been added to ImagePerfect's successful range of Transflex, Transflock and Transflex Fashion materials, which are widely used in heat transfer applications.
