Siasprint Announces the Third Generation of the Multiformula Screen Printing Line |

The Siasprint Multiformula - over the years, the world's most popular multicolour screen printing machine - has recently been re-designed to offer the following innovations:
- Accommodates a wide variety of substrates, from rigid through flexible; thicknesses 120 gsm to 10mm corrugated board
- Supplied with manual or automatic feed
- The operator can handle a wide range of substrates with minimal adjustment
- Frame adjustment to smaller sizes now achievable by one operator
- New design of squeegee and flood coater enables the operator to manage these single-handedly from one side of the machine - height, angle and pressure being controlled from the touch panel
- "Image to sheet" register is enabled automatically through registration of each gripper to the perfect location
- X, Y and Z axes are adjustable by stepper motors

Intermediate UV curing incorporating Sias's New Eco Plus UV Curing System
- The UV Eco Plus system will save more than 50% energy costs when compared with other similar UV curing systems
- Operator can set the curing length stroke on the touch panel, according to the material size, resulting in a lower scanning speed and less lamp power or, alternatively, allow normal UV power to be used to obtain a faster cycle
- Infra-red output is cut, thanks to a quartz filter, which reduces material shrinkage, and also facilitates maintenance
- Squeegee "park" position comes as standard : no need for frame lowering and mechanically actuated drip trays.
- Vacuum table is now sectioned into zones, activated from the control panel
- Reverse vacuum allows easy removal of any printed substrate
- Motorised "Sincroprint" (peel-off)
- Adjustable front stops and side joggers
- Automatic substrate stacker allows perfect consistent stacking, incorporating adjustable speed and air-blowing system to separate sheets
- Automatic self-lowering of pallet
- Mechancial components previously on the printhead are now located in a housing to allow for easy inspection
- In the event of a fault, self-diagnostic system informs operator of type and location
- Modem for remote trouble shooting
- "Tear down" button on the main control panel allows rapid changeover after the job is complete.
- Job-recall : ability to store and recall values for specific jobs
