New Antalis Environmental Brochures |
|
|
As one of the leading paper merchants, Antalis recognises its responsibilities to identify and as far as possible, reduce the adverse impacts on the environment resulting from its activities, products and services.
Antalis' environment manager, Matthew Botfield has produced a new copy of the Antalis Environmental Policy outlining the merchants' commitment to the environment through key benchmarks such as EMAS and ISO 14001
The brochure also outlines details of significant environmental aspects, their associated impacts and how these are managed, such as using Good Quality Combined Heat and Power (GQCHP) – the ‘green' electricity used at Antalis, toner cartridge recycling and commercial and company vehicles.
In addition a handy Paper Cycle leaflet has also been produced which illustrates the 5 steps in the supply of paper: sourcing from well managed forests, paper selection, sales and marketing, distribution and recycling.

Botfield commented: "At Antalis we select only the very best paper mills, we never buy paper products from protected forests. These two brochures give our customers a comprehensive guide to our environmental stance and demonstrate our commitment to the environment."
Copies of the brochures are available from Antalis branches.
