Lechler inaugurates a new production plant for water based products for industry |

... and a new logistics area in Foligno, Perugia, Italy
With the aim of supporting the ambitious development projects for the water based products, Lechler has built a new  industrial plant in the site in Sant'Eraclio next to Foligno. On Saturday the 7th June, Dr. Aram Manoukian has inaugurated the new logistics and productive area (5.500 mq) with the traditional opening ceremony.
The Company Board, the Management Team, the staff of the Umbrian establishment, the Mayor Mr. Manlio Marini and a great number of local authorities attended the event.
Inside the new site a new great productive plant is now working for water based industrial products dedicated to enamels, fillers and primers to dilute with water through a completely automated industrial mixing machine. The plant is related to a new logistics area for the warehouse and the computerised control shipments able to stock up to 10.000 pallets. This important investment has been made considering the growing demand of water based products from the market, to keep the Lechler leadership position in technologies with low impact on the environment also in the industrial field.
In the new site in Foligno you will find the new water based products of the LECHSYS Hydro system for Industry B2B and  Trade. The attendant visited the establishment and saw the new structures for the other water based product lines for Refinish, inaugurated on December 2006, and Decorative, installed the last year.
The President Dr. Agop Manoukian, the Chief Executive, Dr. Aram Manoukian with the Purchasing & Logistics Director, Dr. Francesco Gennari, had an opening speech showing the ambitious Company development programmes and the important investments in the new technologies and plants for the site. During the ceremony an important thanksgiving for the hard work was given to the workers for the realisation of the new structures with a wish for future perspectives.
The involvement of the Municipality Authorities was also interesting, the Mayor, and Architect Joseph Flagiello, Alderman for Urban and Buildings, recognised the strong Lechler commitment in the area of Foligno, in investing and creating new working opportunities while the great part of companies transfer their production sites abroad.
