Grünig Reaches a New Milestone in Screen Preparation |
|
|
G-Bond Ultracure will enable standardised manufacturing of high-tech screen.
Grünig's solution for stretching and gluing large quantities of
screens, meeting the industry's exacting standards with maximum
reproducibility, while at the same time lowering the manufacturing
costs is the G-Bond UltraCure, produced in exclusive partnership with
Kiwo, who supply the gluing head for the UV adhesive and the exposure
unit required for the process.
In developing the G-Bond Ultracure Grunig took into consideration, the following -
- the ability to keep pace with continuously increasing requirements regarding screen quality
- standardized production – consistent quality
whilst overcoming:
- limited capacity of existing stretching equipment
- unproductive idle times of existing stretching equipment
- the necessity to purchase additional stretching equipment as screen quantity increases
- general lack of space required for additional stretching equipment
- the need for elaborate and time-consuming mixing and preparation of two-component glues
- the limited pot life of two-component glues
- two-component glues having to be wasted
- difficult and time-consuming manual gluing procedure
- the requirements for a high level of operational safety
- the exposure of operators to solvent vapour
The unique new system addresses the demand for higher quality, increased productivity and a higher degree of reproducibility. All stretching and gluing processes can be programmed and stored by means of the touch-screen. Thanks to the short response time of the UV adhesive, the plant output can be considerably increased. Manual application of the glue is no longer required, which means that the operator can concentrate on the more important processes.
