Christian Duyckaerts (DOB: 1970) is FESPA’s board representative in Belgium, and President of the screen and digital work group of Belgian trade association Febelgra. He is also a member of the Organisation Mondiale de la Presse Periodique.

Since the year 2000, Christian has been a managing partner and technical director of Antwerp-based Print&Display, a specialist in the creation of outdoor publicity materials, cardboard displays, permanent displays, and POP collateral for corporate and agency customers throughout Europe.

Employing 108 people, with sales offices in Benelux, Germany and France, Print&Display takes care of the entire process from research, design and prototyping through to printing, finishing, fulfilment and warehousing, and uses a combination of screen, offset and digital printing techniques.

He took up that role following 14 years with Hamiscreen Affiche Europeennne, culminating in the position of production director, with additional responsibility for environmental accreditation.

Christian is also one of the owners/partners of GSI Holding in Schelle/ Antwerp and MAT Media Art Technology (Charleroi), both leading companies in large format digital printing in Belgium.

Christian studied graphic technologies at the technical school TSM Mechelen and at HIGRO, the higher institute for graphic industries in Ghent.

Christian’s personal interest in comic art is reflected in Christian’s presidency of VZW T’beeldverhaal, an organisation promoting the ‘ninth art’.
