Dr Simon Daplyn Joined Xennia in 2008 and is the Ink Products Specialist, responsible for product management, customer implementation and commercialization of the inks portfolio offered by Xennia from a commercial standpoint. As part of the textiles group Simon has a particular focus on textile solutions for decoration and functional finishing. Previously Simon was involved in the R&D group overseeing developments of a number of industrial inkjet solutions.
Before joining Xennia Simon graduated with an MSc in Colour and Polymer Chemistry from the University of Leeds before gaining a PhD for work on Inkjet Printing onto Textiles from the same university. Simon then went on to work for Nanojet Ink based in Newcastle upon Tyne where he was Technical Manager of textile ink developments.
