John Scrimshaw is an editor at World Textile Information Network (www.wtin.com), formerly World Textile Publications Ltd – the world’s biggest textile publisher. Initially handling magazines in the apparel and fashion-technology sectors, he assumed the editorship of the long-established International Dyer magazine in 2001 and was responsible for piloting the spin-off Digital Textile magazine at ITMA 2003. Digital Textile operated as an electronic-only magazine until its relaunch in print at the start of 2009.
In addition, John acts as editor of ITMA Daily News/Textile Daily News – published at the ITMA and ITMA Asia + CITME shows – and of the IMPACT Special Reports on sustainability in the textile industry. He is also a regular contributor to the online WTiN Executive Intelligence service.
