The EMEA Summit will take place on 24th November 2010, in Istanbul, Turkey.
Address: Radisson Blu Conference & Airport Hotel E-5 Karayolu (Yanyol) No:20 34295 K.Çekmece, Istanbul TURKEY
Airport: There are two airports in Istanbul: the Atatürk International Airport is located 24km west of the city centre in Yeşilköy. Most airlines fly to this airport, including British Airways and Turkish Airlines.
The Radisson Blu is located near the airport, so we would recommend a taxi to get there, but if you want to explore Istanbul it is probably better to stay in the centre of town. Taxis are the easiest way of reaching the city centre from the airport, and the fare to Taksim or Sultanahmet is US$35. The airport bus is cheaper, with buses departing every half hour between 6am and midnight. The bus stop is marked ‘Havaş’ and is situated outside the main doors of the arrivals hall. The service terminates in Taksim Square.
The Sabiha Gökçen International Airport is located on the Asian side of the city, some 35km southeast of the Istanbul.
Taxi: Taxis are relatively cheap compared to other European cities. Licensed taxis are bright yellow, with ‘taksi’ on the roof, and the fare is always charged according to a meter. If you cross the Bosphorus Bridge, then the bridge toll will be added to the fare.
