Owner, Print and Display

Christian DuyckaertsChristian Duyckaerts is a FESPA’s board representative in Belgium, and President of the screen and digital work group of Belgian trade association Febelgra. He is also a member of the Organisation Mondiale de la Presse Periodique.
Since the year 2000, Christian has been a managing partner and technical director of Antwerp-based Print&Display, a specialist in the creation of outdoor publicity materials, cardboard displays, permanent displays, and POP collateral for corporate and agency customers throughout Europe.

Employing 108 people, with sales offices in Benelux, Germany and France, Print&Display takes care of the entire process from research, design and prototyping through to printing, finishing, fulfilment and warehousing, and uses a combination of screen, offset and digital printing techniques.

He took up that role following 14 years with Hamiscreen Affiche Europeennne, culminating in the position of production director, with additional responsibility for environmental accreditation.

Christian is also one of the owners/partners of GSI Holding in Schelle/ Antwerp and MAT Media Art Technology (Charleroi), both leading companies in large format digital printing in Belgium.

Christian studied graphic technologies at the technical school TSM Mechelen and at HIGRO, the higher institute for graphic industries in Ghent.

Christian’s personal interest in comic art is reflected in Christian’s presidency of VZW T’beeldverhaal, an organisation promoting the ‘ninth art’.

Doğu Aydınak is the Chairman of IDEM which is founded in 1993, employs 50 people in all group companies .

Its accumulated knowledge and experience in the field of internal and external lighting practices and corporate identity projects has brought IDEM in the position of performing as the main supplier of leading companies in all over the world. IDEM serves with its professional staff in the production of lighting systems, indoor and outdoor sign, POP and product stands with LED, Neon and Cold Cathode Lighted.

Doğu Aydınak is one of the person of the founder of ARED (Sign Association of Turkey) and he has been taking seperate responsibilites in the board of management since 2001.

Doğu Aydınak graduated from the school of business administration in Istanbul University. He is married and has three children.

 
Francois Martin Print E-mail

Francois MartinSince 2006 Francois Martin has led the Graphic Solution Business Marketing for HP EMEA. In addition to leading the HP Marketing strategy, Francois is also responsible for the Marketing of HP Indigo, HP Scitex, HP Designjet and the recently introduced HP Inkjet Web Press.

Before this assignment, Francois was responsible for the HP Indigo Current Business Management Worldwide facilitating the integration of Indigo acquired in 2001.

He joined HP in 1985 and held various sales and marketing positions within the Imaging and Printing Group working on the first LaserJet, DeskJet, All-in-One and Design Jet. In his career, Francois has been focusing on launching many new product categories. François is native French and spent many years in international positions across EMEA.

François holds an MBA from a French Business School and lives in Geneva.

Zemt is active in the printing industry where Mike has more then 20 year of production experience.

Horsten also co-leads COSO (Corporate Solutions BV founded in 1995) one of the first Green Textile printing companies in the Netherlands. He was the one of the principal architects in changing a silkscreen industry to a digitally clean textile printing business in 1999 with the transformation of Silkscreen technologies in to Dye sublimation technology. Starting as an equipment vendor to sell this solution he found out that making the end product was more profitable and fun.

Pedro Jacques de Sousa
Born in Oporto in 1960, Pedro started working in 1980 in a family business of International Freight Forwarding and Customs Agent business. In 1986 with the opening of the first hypermarket in Portugal, he founded the company Mediaperformances Portugal, specialized on In-store Media Advertising, where he started his career on the advertising and communication business. In 1993, he joined the French company Affiche Européenne and become Country Manager in Portugal, developing the large format printing business on the country. In 2001 the group Affiche Européene merged with the Belgian Imprimerie Hecht and the Czeck Republic Eclipse, forming the Impression Group, and they decided to establish in Portugal an industrial operation, buying the smallest screen printing company with only two one colour machines. Since that date Pedro has managed the Impression group in Portugal and became leader on the large format printing. Since 2007 Impression Portugal started developing the POS productions, responsible for a continuous increasing 25% of the turnover. Impression Portugal is since 2009 the only large format printing company with the AMBIGRAF certification for environmental conformity, and also member of the World Business Council for Sustainability Development.

Mobile marketing is an exciting discipline which Ogilvy has injected into its DNA. Scott created the mobile division and leads its operation across the 12 group agencies. Scott was also a founding creator of Ogilvy London’s Digital Innovation Lab for which he has incorporated many market leading technologies (and invented one or two along the way). At Ogilvy, Scott’s work has contributed towards winning 8 awards for mobile marketing including a Cannes Lion, two Creative Circles and a D&AD. Prior to joining Ogilvy he had won 12 awards for his work with mobile. In the UK, Scott is Co-Chairman for The Mobile Marketing Association and across Europe he holds a seat on the MMA Exco Board of Directors. He believes that mobile represents the perfect canvas upon which creative can blend with technology.

She works with many of the industry's leading and fledgling manufacturers, as well as vendors and end-users. Sophie is based in Europe, and contributes regularly to many specialist publications world-wide. She is also a photographer and has been involved with pre-press and the practical aspects of ink-jet production since the earliest days of its development.

Volkan BayraktarVolkan Bayraktar is the Signage Products Manager at Zer Merkezi Hizmetler A.S. since August 2008. He is responsible for purchasing signage products of Koç Group. He has deep knowledge on outdoor and indoor signages, signage materials, digital and screen printing, POP and product stands, and internal and external lighting products.

He began his career in 3T Architecture in June 2003 and served as Purchasing Specialist. He had collected price offers, searched for new suppliers and followed-up the stocks. In June 2006, he had acceted the Purchasing Specialist position in Nova Group. He was in charge of the purchasing of digital printing raw materails and corporate identity raw materials. During his term in Nova Group he had searched for new raw materials and developed strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.

Volkan Bayraktar is a graduate of Istanbul University, Faculty of Communications and Promotion and he is personally interested in photography and cinema.
