Nigel has worked for FESPA for a total of 13 years, since January 1993, as Assistant General Secretary. Was appointed as General Secretary in 2000. Married with two grown up daughters and six grandchildren. His hobbies are gardening, most sport and he is a keen tennis player.

Frazer Chesterman is a youthful and energetic 42 year old, who is married with 3 children – all boys. He joined FESPA as a commercially driven senior professional with wide ranging experience of running exhibitions, conferences and magazines in a variety of business to business sectors. He spent 8 years working at Reed Elsevier on various magazines and then joined Brintex, the UK’s largest privately owned exhibition organiser. At Brintex, he was a board level director with responsibility for six medium sized events covering various different marketplaces.

Katherine began her career in the Motor Industry in 1994 and, following a move to the area, joined FESPA and the Screen Printing Industry in 2007, initially as Sales Administrator/Credit Controller. She is confident that the skills gained in a fast-paced retail sector will prove a strength in the dynamic world of exhibitions and magazines. When she is not at work for FESPA, Katherine enjoys travel, going to the theatre and exploring the pubs and restaurants of her new county.

Sarah started off her career in customer service, she later moved on to be a recruitment consultant, which is where she became interested in finance. She studied 3 years for the CIMA qualification whilst working full time and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2004. Her first day at FESPA was spent onsite in Munich, helping to organise the first day of their largest exhibition. Sarah was certainly thrown in at the deep end but has managed to keep her head above water very well ever since.

When she is not managing FESPA’s finances Sarah enjoys swimming, walking and listening to live music. She is also an avid cat lover and a strict vegetarian.

Mirela started her career in administration whilst studying computing. After completing this course, she worked for 2 years at book keeping, and discovered that she enjoyed accountancy. Now Mirela is studying an ACCA open university course which she hopes to complete as quickly as possible!

Mirela joined FESPA in 2006 as an accounts assistant where she has gained good experience for her studies. Whilst she isn't working hard, Mirela spends time with her 2 daughters and husband. She enjoys studying languages and going for relaxing walks.

Susan started her marketing career at Rentokil where her organisational skills were quickly recognised and she became involved in organising Rentokil's involvement in exhibitions and conferences.  In 1998 she joined dmg world media as an Event Co-ordinator, eventually becoming Operations Manager, responsible for the organisation of overseas and UK trade exhibitions across a wide variety of industries.

Away from FESPA, Susan enjoys exploring the world where she can pursue her interests in photography, experiencing new cultures, wining and dining. Susan's an avid reader and finds relaxation in music and socialising with her friends.

Claire is an energetic 24 year old who enjoys the events atmosphere.  Having previously worked for a London modelling agency booking models for fashion shows, Claire is able to keep calm and level headed under the most pressured environment!  Claire left the fashion industry in order to travel and work in Australia for 1 year, which she enjoyed immensely and would go back at any opportunity!

With a love for doing adventurous things, in her spare time Claire tries her hand at snowboarding and scuba diving, as well as attending a number of social events.

After graduating with a BA(Hons) in Languages for Business, Mike spent five years as Project Manager with Overseas Trade Show Agencies, specialists in International Trade Exhibitions. In the summer of 2003, Mike was one of the first to join the newly formed FESPA organising team. As an experienced and travelled Sales Manager, he has had the opportunity to learn at first hand the world of screen and digital printing, and prides himself on knowing his squeegee from his stencils.

Why does he like exhibitions?..."I've been very lucky in my role at FESPA to travel the world and when you spend all your time building relationships with people from across the globe, nothing beats that feeling of meeting them all and them doing well at your event." Away from FESPA, a multitude of sports, languages, travelling, music, handbags and cuisine keep him occupied.

James began his career selling advertising space in a variety of trade magazines. He first started working in exhibitions 5 years ago, as International Sales Manager of the Air Cargo show in Munich and Shanghai. James loves the events industry, he enjoys the challenge and being a very sociable person he loves the people contact.

James' second love is sport. A keen golfer, with an impressive handicap of 8, he enjoys participating in golf competitions across the UK. The 19th hole is also one of his favourite haunts!

Nova is playing a key role within the exhibition sales team to launch FESPA World Expo Asia Pacific and also works on the other shows within the FESPA portfolio. She has considerable sales experience and with her knowledge of 5 Asian languages, brings an extra dimension to the sales team. Nova is married to Mark. She enjoys travelling - enjoying the new experiences she gathers along the way - socialising with friends and reading.

Marcus joined FESPA in August 2006, principally to manage the marketing for FESPA 2007 in Berlin. Since then, he has been on more aeroplanes, visited many amazing places, met some superb people and been astonished by the power and goodwill the FESPA brand generates.

In July 2007 he became Corporate Communications Director for FESPA and was also given the responsibility of launching FESPA World Expo Asia Pacific 28-30 November 2008, in Bangkok, Thailand as Event Director.  Then, in July 2008, he was promoted to Sales & Marketing Director.

Passionate about marketing and exhibitions, his dual position at FESPA provides Marcus with the best of both worlds: a rewarding challenge to promote the most unique brand in the industry and to launch a very exciting new show in Thailand.

In his spare time, Marcus likes spending time with his wife Pippa and daughters, Daisy, 5, and new arrival Kiki. Marcus also likes running, music, reading and relaxing.

Karen graduated from Bath University in 1998 with a BA (Hons) degree in German and French with European Studies.

Since this time she has been actively employed in marketing and sales. Her varied marketing experience includes working on the Smirnoff vodka and Malboro accounts. She has been organising exhibitions for the past 6 years and really enjoys this challenging industry.

Karen married in 2004 and had a baby daughter in September 2006. Karen loves spending time with her family and when she has some free time she enjoys swimming and tennis.

Lynda started her marketing career in 2003 working as a Marketing Assistant for a legal firm. Nearly four years on she took a career step and joined FESPA to help support the busy sales team through FESPA Berlin 2007.
In August of 2007 Lynda made another career step-up into the Marketing Department of FESPA, as Marketing Executive, where she is actively involved in the Marketing of the FESPA shows, promoting and orgainising of FESPA conferences and is always looking for the next challenge FESPA throw her way.
Lynda is currently studying for her CIM Diploma in Marketing. But in her spare time, Lynda enjoys the active lifestyle of snowboarding, off roading, motor sport racing and rock climbing. And also some quieter activities such as reading, cooking and trips to the cinema.

Chris is married with one son. Prior to joining the screen and digital printing industry, Chris worked for 18 years as a human resources manager for a public services union in the UK.

He joined the UK Digital & Screen Printing Association in 1997 and among his achievements there were the introduction of benefits and services to UK members and the organisation of two very successful UK Pavilions at the FESPA Exhibitions in 2002 and 2005.

Qualified as a bilingual Secretary (German) in 1986 and spent time as an intern at Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart. She has been involved in the screen and digital industry since 1986 and joined the FESPA Secretariat in 1998, after having worked in Marketing at Sericol's UK HQ for 9 years. She gained a BA (Hons) degree in Language Studies in 2005. Outside of FESPA, music, cinema and theatre are her main interests.
