A few weeks ago, I thought it would be a good idea to add to my blog a new column where I could mention some technical « novelties » that can be helpful for us, in our effort to embrace « multiple technologies », to serve our customers and make them happy !

As you know, FESPA made a huge effort to support screen printing applications by publishing this fantastic portfolio named « SENSATIONS »… And, clearly and in many countries this book inspired digital and screen printers to use the screen printed « Special effects » to enhance various products graphic, sign, textile and
industrial printing applications.

This in turn leads to a greater demand for efficient, safe and speedy screen presses - and cylinder
presses are the best for these special applications when the substrates, paper or PVC -
flexible in general – are first and foremost offset printed.

Due to the demand in Asia and in Europe, Bhargav Mistry, the manager of the Indian
biggest Press and Equipment manufacturing company for screen printing - Grafica
Flextronica - has decided to add to the already extensive range of machines, two cylinder
press models, which are particularly suited to special effect screen printing and can also be used for other types of high speedscreen printing : a Swing and a Stop Cylinder presses.

Digital FESPA 2008 in Geneva, in a few days? I shall speak about it later…. Logical no?
But on the other hand and following on from my first blog about the communication which was not, at first sight, stirring up a great deal of interest - I wonder really if, at some rare exceptions, our peers want really to communicate, between them, with their customers and with their suppliers!
Too bad for them! Those that understood the importance of the communication have companies which work very well. The others disappear slowly!

And those who are conscious of the importance of this communication, that it is in Europe or in Asia Pacific participated in these two « Summits FESPA », close together in terms of time (the end of February and the middle of March) though very far away in distance (Budapest and Bangkok).. FESPA is really a « global » organization!

FESPA Digital 2008 à Genève, dans quelques jours ? J’en parlerai… après… Logique non ?
Mais par contre  et dans le droit-fil de mon premier blog sur la communication qui n’a pas de prime abord, soulevé un intérêt délirant – je me demande vraiment si, à quelques rares exceptions près, nos pairs ont vraiment envie de communiquer, entre eux, avec leurs clients et avec leurs fournisseurs !
Tant pis pour eux ! Ceux qui ont compris l’importance de la communication ont des entreprises qui marchent très bien…. Les autres disparaissent peu à peu !

Et ceux-là même qui sont conscients de l’importance de cette communication, que ce soit en Europe ou en Asie Pacifique ont participé à ces deux « Sommets FESPA » , rapprochés dans le temps (fin février et mi-mars) et très éloignés dans l’espace (Budapest et Bangkok)…. FESPA est vraiment une organisation « globale» !

Nowadays, “blogs” are part of everyday life and my feeling is that I should both take pleasure in my blog and breathe life into it, not so much for myself but for FESPA!

Un « blog » prend vie aujourd’hui et je sens que je vais « l’aimer et l’animer » parce que …. C’est beaucoup celui de la FESPA et un peu le mien !

intéressant pour nos vies et nos métiers et qui puisse agrémenter, étoffer nos discussions nous l’ajouterons aussitôt…
