About ASGA
The wonder of screen printing is the subtle blend of multimedia arts and printing technologies. The screen printing industry has been unceasingly developed into various printing applications with a unique process that can be practically applied to almost any type or form of substrate.
The expansion of the world's printing industry has resulted in a fascinating growth of screen printing markets. This also sparked the idea to create a co-operative body among Asia Pacific countries to strengthen the screen printing industry in the region and enable it to acquire an international standard, as well as to assure more expansion of the industry.
In 1994, APSPA (Asia Pacific Screen Printing Association) was founded and in 1998 renamed as ASGA (Asia Screen Printing & Graphic Imaging Association) which has been, from the beginning establishment, a forum for screen printing operation, companies and associations to mutually create friendship and co-operation. This has led to a formation of rules, regulations, roles and responsibilities for ASGA as the screen printing association for the Asia Pacific region with its major objectives to create FRIENDSHIP, CO-OPERATION and DEVELOPMENT to the screen printing industry.
At present, ASGA has 11 members which are in alphabetical order as follows, AUSTRALIA, CHINA, HONG KONG, INDIA, INDONESIA, JAPAN, PHILIPPINES, THAILAND, VIETNAM, SOUTH KOREA and SRI LANKA
