The company is based on the sixth floor of a building in the city centre and delivery was proving to be a logistical challenge; until HP’s distributor in the Czech Republic, HSW, together with Bono Art decided upon using a somewhat unusual method of delivery. . . The delivery proved to be quite an unusual sight in the city - attracting television cameras and the national press. All went without a hitch, and the printer landed on the rooftop intact, just as planned.
The installation, from initial loading onto the helicopter to final installation and testing of the new machine, took just three days with the machine totally unaffected by its short flight. “We wanted the HP Designjet L65500 Printer to help expand our exhibition and display printing services. We are particularly keen to attract new customers who are looking to meet green guidelines in their print buying procedures,” said Martin Vejmola, general manager and owner, Bono Art s.r.o. “Our only obstacle was getting the printer to our facility, but we knew HP and HSW would give us all the support we needed, so HSW arranged delivery by helicopter. This has to be a unique delivery method, but one that has proved to be a total success for us. Now we can look forward to starting production with our new HP Designjet L65500 Printer.”
