The film features the newest techniques and demonstrations from an industry leader and shows a full vehicle wrap with all steps from preparing the tools to the finishing touch of the completed wrap. In just over 30 minutes installers or those interested in getting into vehicle wrapping business learn which points need particular care. The most difficult areas are given special attention with valuable advice on the latest technological advances, tips and tricks to achieve high-quality wrap projects, so even experienced wrappers can benefit from fresh ideas.
The film features sound tracks in the following languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
As the film is an integral part of the Hexis training sessions, each participant of a wrapping seminar gets a complimentary copy of the DVD. Hexis regularly holds training courses for professional wrappers.
The sessions last one or two days and include everything from the selection of tools and preliminary surface preparation to the final thermal treatment of the wrapping vinyl. Hexis launches new cast vinyl films at FESPA Digital in Amsterdam
Hexis will be present at FESPA Digital Printing 2008, this year’s major exhibition for large format digital imaging, taking place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands 12-14 May. At the event Hexis will show an all-new cast film combined with Hex’Press adhesive technology specially designed for full vehicle wraps.
The new HX20000 combines a double-layered 80µm cast vinyl film with a solvent-based adhesive and a structured PE liner with Hex’Press technology that allows convenient air egress during application. Because of its extreme flexibility and high conformability fast and risk free transfers are practically guaranteed. It is particularly recommended for long-term outdoor applications and for vehicle full wraps. It features an outdoor durability of up to 10 years and is thus the ideal high-end solution for corrugated or riveted surfaces and all substrates with long life cycles.
The colours of the HX20000 are based on those of the successful SUPTAC S5000 series. Thus colour matching the two series on the same project is very easy.
The HX20000 is available in 33 high-gloss colours. The roll size is 30m long and 1370mm (54in) wide.
Also on show will be the enhanced HX100WG2, a 50µm cast vinyl film with a grey structured adhesive compound that makes the product repositionable during application allowing easy elimination of creases and air bubbles. The HX100WG1 is for solvent and eco-solvent inkjet printers and features an embossed PE liner and an extremely conformable vinyl formulation that make it the first choice for printed vehicle wraps.
The HX100WG1 comes in rolls 45m, 100m or 200m long and 1370mm (54in) wide.
